Before you book
Questions to ask EsthetX when you call or email, based on what we couldn’t confirm:
- Is the clinic taking new patients, and how long is the wait for a first appointment?
- Can a dentist or receptionist speak English (or your language), or should you bring someone to translate?
- Which health insurers does the clinic have contracts with, and what will your insurer pay for?
- Can you get a written treatment plan with the total cost before starting? Published prices are usually “from” prices.
- How do you pay: card, cash, bank transfer or employee benefit cards?
- What happens if you need to cancel or move an appointment, and is there a fee?
Bring your insurance card and ID, a list of any medicines you take, and any recent dental X-rays. If you have a treatment plan from another dentist, bring it with you.
