Prague 2 is the smallest of Prague’s districts, covering about 4.2 km². It includes all of Vyšehrad and parts of Vinohrady, the New Town (Nové Město) and Nusle. Náměstí Míru, with the Vinohrady Theatre and the Prague 2 town hall, is at its centre. For its small size, it has a lot of dental clinics.
Postcodes in Prague 2 usually start with 120 (most of Vinohrady and Vyšehrad) or 128 (parts of the New Town around Karlovo náměstí and Albertov). Don’t rely on the postcode alone, though, because the street boundaries between Prague 1, 2, 3 and 10 are irregular. We have checked every clinic in our list against a map, and the district shown is the administrative district.
The clinics in Prague 2 fall into two main areas:
The two areas are about 15 minutes’ walk apart, and both are close to the metro.
Prague 2 is very well connected, which helps if you need to fit an appointment around work:
If stairs are a problem, ask about step-free access when you book.
The clinics listed above differ in ways that matter if you don’t speak Czech:

You don’t need to be registered, and there is a standard fee of CZK 90. See emergency dentist in Prague for addresses and what to do. If you have swelling that makes it hard to breathe or swallow, call 155 or 112.
If you’re staying in Prague long term, you’ll probably want to register with one dentist for regular check-ups. Places can be hard to find in Prague, so contact several clinics at once and ask whether they’re accepting new registered patients. Our guide on how to register with a dentist in the Czech Republic explains the process and what to do if every practice is full.
